2018 was an interesting year for the worldwide fashion apparel industry. For the first time ever, most apparel sales happened outside of Europe and North America. This trend of shifting dynamics has also followed into the mediums of retail and sales, as e-commerce and both online private label clothing brands are riding the wave of changing customer preferences. Down the supply chain too, digitisation and different business models have allowed brands to go from design to shelf in as little as a week. Fast fashion has never been this fast!
